Summer Thrill- March 2015, Dahilayan Forest and Adventure park.

        

     It was a very sunny day when we reached Dahilayan forest park. The weather was crisp and the air was fresh. What a great day to spend quality time with my family. 

     Dahilayan features a wide range of exciting activities for both young and adult. It is perfect for families. 

     The park is known for Dual Zipline which is currently the longest in Asia. It is a must-try for all outdoor lovers. 

     We arrived at Dahilayan Adventure Park at around 11:00am. There's a lot of people as is was a weekend. I've tried the three zipline, that was really Awesome! Me and my family had so much fun.Zipline is not only the activity in Dahilayan Adventure Park. Here are the list of some activities: 

• Zorbit- is a giant ball were you and your partner are strapped inside and rolled down a hill

• Forest Luge- rolls down a scenic track with thrilling twists and turns with scenic mountain views and this is one of the outdoor activity that no one should miss

• Net Trampoline-  as you soar up high in the air up to 20ft high, strapped in a safety harness, you can also feel the coolness of the air and you can view scenic mountains.

How to get there: 

     In private van/car:
   It's 1.5 hours from Cagayan de Oro. take the Iligan-CDO-Butuan Road. Take the 2nd right onto Sayre hi-way. Slight right onto Alae-Camp Philips Mampayag Road. Just continue until you reach Dahilayan Forest Park. You will see several Directional signs along the way to guide you. 

By Commute:
   Head to Agora MArket. Ask for a van going to Camp Philips. It takes also 1.5 hours. Get off to Camp Philips and rent a motorcycle. Passed by the long stretch of Del Monte Pineapple plantation. Road could be rough, dusty and muddy.
